heroes - nbc you owe us

i hate it when networks cancel shows without a proper ending... especially if the tv series lasted for four yesrs!

i know that heroes didn't live up to its potential. but i thought it was pretty decent. and i would have loved to see how it ends. we've invested four years!!!

nbc. you owe us! a 2 hour tv movie would suffice.

sweet dreams are made of this!

paprika was a surprise. i downloaded it just because erika recommended it... oh man... i think satoshi kon is a genius. great musical score, out of this world animation, and a mind-bending (inception-like) story line.

i recommend this to everyone! it doesn't matter if you're a fan of anime or not. this film tackles a lot of relevant stuff - like technology, internet, and how they "dehumanize" us. i now need to check on other satoshi kon films. it seems that he has a lot to say.

best game ever! i'm 22 over at the back 9 of villamor golf course. and only one ball got lost. haha.

too bad the twilight rate is currently suspended. need to save to be able to play more.

i had fun though watching jeremy lin scorch the net this morning with 26 points. my first time to watch him play. the hype is actually legit. he has definitely earned our respect.

we played better second half. but we were still outclassed. less than a month before the challenge cup and we're still striving to get in shape. i think we're lucky to get away with only 1 - 0 lost. 30% possession is not acceptable! impressive performance by sabio and wolf though. keep it up guys!

time to get that much needed rest. long day tomorrow.

pba dream game 2012; blue eagles vs the archers!

i only got to watch the first half coz i couldn't keep my eyes open. i only had 2 1/2 hours of sleep the night before and was in the golf course the whole day. when i checked the results this morning, i was not surprised. the eagles got their asses whopped! i noticed that they didn't play with intensity the first half, and they were just out there to have fun.

the game was for the benefit of the cancer and hematology center of the philippine children’s medical center in quezon city. so it's all good... putting the healthy rivalry into good use.

goals for 2012

i remember writing down my goals for 2010. and i just checked them now. guess what. i only fulfilled one! lol.

goals for 2010.
1) maintain my weight at 125 lbs - ended 2010 at 130. i'm now at least 132!
2) join a half-marathon - i was able to join a 15K fun run though.
3) read at least 12 books - i think i read at least 20 books.
4) see the doctor for a general checkup - last general checkup was 5 years ago! i should really see a doctor.
5) fish and veggies on weekdays - i was able to do this for only 2 months.
6) pray the rosary every night - this only lasted for three days.

now... my goals for this year!

1) lose weight
2) join a half-marathon
3) read at least 20 books
4) see the doctor for a general checkup
5) fish and veggies on weekdays
6) try to pray the rosary every night
