caffeine fix

some suggestions where to find ur caffeine fix that's not starbucks, cbtl, ucc, or figaro.

1) bo's coffee, glorietta
g/f alfresco area glorietta 5, makati city

- a success story on how a local coffee brand can survive despite the invasion of global heavyweights starbucks and cbtl.

2) blenz, megamall
2/F sm megamall atrium

- overrated but still good. one of the better coffee places in megamall.

3) the room upstairs
2/F lri business plaza, 210 n. garcia st., bel air, makati city

- if you want some peace and quiet, this is where i'd go.

3) commune
liberty plaza, 102 hv dela costa st., salcedo village, makati

- i love the artsy-fartsy vibe. they also serve alcohol which is a definite plus.

4) kuppa
commercenter, 4th ave., cor 31st st., bgc

- excellent coffee and the homey feel makes this place a winner. the pizza is pretty good too.

5) epic cafe
102 east capitol drive, kapitolyo, pasig

- visited this place last weekend. i enjoyed the coffee and most specially the ambiance. will definitely come back. the cakes were pretty good too.

6) caffe bene
eastwood city walk2

- i'm fond of this cafe becoz of the ski-lodge vibe. it is also usually not crowded since there's a starbucks infront and it's beside cbtl.

7) black canyon
tuscany estates, mckinley parkway

- it's good to know that i have other options in mck when i need to stay awake.

8) highlands
g/f pioneer center, pioneer st. corner united st., pasig

- vietnamese coffee is one of the best in the world! i like tru nguyen better highlands though. i wonder if they will open a franchise sometime in the near future.

9) m cafe
1/f greenbelt 4

- sunday brunch is the best time to go here. love spending sunday morning's here.

10) enderun cafe
1100 campus place, mck hill taguig city

- the closest coffee place from where i work now. i also get a decent cafe americano for only 60 bucks! the place can get noisy/crowded though specially during the afternoon.
