i only got to watch three screenings - teoriya, ang babae sa septic tank, and the short feature #1. but even with my limited perspective, i can say that this year's batch is quite impressive. indie film-making has gone a long way.

i can't wait for next year. hopefully, more films will get the same success as ang babae sa septic tank.

the story of sofia ysabel rosal has touched and inspired us. barely 3 months old, this little girl has manifested how strong a fighter she can be. together with her family and friends, we continue to cheer her on as she continues to courageously wage her daily battles.

davao trip

my davao was around 4 days and 4 nights but we weren't able to go around much. blame it on alcohol and lazy friends. haha. but i do have some recommendations. very limited but they might come in handy.

where to drink? kanto at mts, starr, marco polo's eagles bar

where to eat? ranchero, dimsum diner (after a night of drinking), rosario, trellis, let's crab it (eat all you can), dencio's hilltop (for the scenic view), eden nature park, harana

where to go for coffee? bluegre (try the durian coffee), kasagingan (banana flavored coffee!), green coffee
