we're heading to resort's world for the new year! i've heard there will be no fireworks though which i understand. it's beside freaking naia 3! program starts at 10pm.

3rd bej ps3 fifa cup

i placed 4th place in the 3nd bej ps3 fifa cup. bad result considering i won the first two tourneys. o well... the streak is over. 

i fielded 2 teams namely chelsea and bayern fc. of the two teams, chelsea suprisingly made it to #4 and loss to the eventual finalist real madrid in the semis. my bayern fc i think is either 5th or last place. sucks huh? 

my bro brian has really improved a lot. his teams, real madrid and man u placed first and second respectively in the group stage. defintely the teams to beat in the next tourney... 

december is usually the time to geek out! hehe.  

2012 christmas viewings

to help me get into the christmas vibe... i decided to watch a few xmas-themed movies. true enough... it kinda helped.  hmmmm... maybe i will do this every year.

1) nightmare before christmas (i never get tired of this christmas classic)
2) a very harold and kumar christmas (i still enjoy watching mindless movies once in a while)
3) new year (forgettable)
4) arthur christmas (blown away. a new favorite)
5) love actually (maybe it's the 4th time i've watched this. i still have a crush on keira knightley)

i recommend everything in this list except new year. it's not just forgettable, it sucked big time. hehe.

suzuki cup 2012: azkals vs singapore 0 - 1

the better team won the game. we were caught unprepared. o well, that's football.

at least we've proved that we are a rising football power in asia. back to back semifinals appearance is a big feat. we should be proud.

we watched the game at dillingers greenbelt 3 becoz nsg was packed inside out. i recommend the angus steak. for 700 bucks, it's a pretty good deal. the beer is also cheap for makati... only around 75 bucks. it goes to say that we drank our sorrows away. hehe.

world bazaar 2012 @wtc

i'm heading out  to my favorite bazaar - world bazaar @ wtc with my sister in awhile. this is my yearly thing. personally, i think world bazaar is much more organized than the noel bazaar by gma tv. the rivalry continues even outside tv. haha. 

if you still have a long way to go with your xmas shopping list, you might wanna check this out. open daily until 10pm on weekdays and 12 midnight on friday and sat night (until dec 23).

suzuki cup 2012: azkals vs singapore nil all

i'm actually satisfied with the draw. the team played badly in the first half. i think they were a bit too cautious. but the bright side is that they did a lot better in the second half, and actually posed some serious threats at least a couple of times. singapore can be defeated. the azkals just need to have better control of the midfield and attack more from the flanks, where they are more effective recently.

for the game this wednesday, lucena will be available... this is a very good news for us. also, i hope weiss can give chris greatwich some playing time. maybe a fresh face in the midfield can do wonders for us.

suzuki cup 2012: azkals vs myanmar

the azkals played superb football. the back four was solid and the midfield did pretty well even without lucena.  the man of the match is de jong for me. he did not only provide phil the assist for the first goal but he was a work horse in the middle and the back.
