beerfest opening night starts in 5 hours! up dharma, pupil, rico blanco, and urbandub will be playing. pretty good line-up huh?!

also katipunan brew and craftpoint among others will be setting up booths... so make sure you try katipunan beer, liberation, and summer session. good stuff! believe me on this. so better head to eastwood later.

da vinci exhibit @ mind museum

da vinci exhibit is now open!

"For the first time in the Philippines is the most comprehensive exhibit on the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci. It will feature life-sized, interactive replications of his inventions: the bicycle, the glider, scuba-diving equipment, tank and more, faithfully crafted by Italian artisans. It will also showcase reproductions of his amazingly accurate & detailed anatomical drawings.

The Da Vinci -- The Genius exhibit in Manila will also include 3D features on his art works:
Vitruvian Man, Mona Lisa and the Last Supper."

200 bucks entrance was actually pretty reasonable. i suggest you watch the 50 minute documentary which plays 4x a day.

zamboanga crisis

as you may know, zamboanga city needs our help.... i have this feeling that this will drag on for at least another week.

the end of a dynasty

i do feel bad that ateneo was ousted by ust. final four was so close. o well... i'm still proud of the team. the eagles fought until the last second - a true mark of a champion.

the drive for six ended today. it was quite a run. 14 semis appearance and a 5-peat. all good things must come to an end. that's reality.

to all bashers out there, i leave you with a quote from dr. house.

"arrogance has to be earned. tell me what you've done to earn yours."

soleslam automax 2013

will be heading later to one esplanade for sole slam manila and the automax carshow. i don't really consider myself as a sneakerhead or a car enthuasiast. but i'm going to the event for the girls. haha. kidding. this will be my first show convention... so i'm just curious. i'll let you know how it goes.

to those who find it too cumbersome to drive to marikina for shoe shopping, you could actually just head to eastfood from september 14-23 for the sapatos festival mega shoe sale. it will be held at the eastwood central plaza!

chocolate festival

eastwood/megaworld lifestyle mall is sponsoring the chocolate festival to celebrate and promote anything chocolate. this much-anticipated once a year event for chocolate addicts opened last sept 3. i'm not really a big fan of chocolates but i think it's worth a look. i might find something for my sister who is a certified chocoholic!
