i can say that i'm satisfied with the performance of the azkals against bahrain and kuwait. the azkals, currently 147th in the fifa world rankings, was able to hold bahrain (115th) to a scoreless draw and just dropped 2 - 1 against kuwait (112th). looks like we're in good shape for next month's suzuki cup.
two quick notes...
- we really do need neil etheridge, angel guirado and phil younghusband. i really hope they suit up for suzuki cup.
- sabio's long throw-ins were definitely missed. my best back four would be cagara, carli, sabio and gier. we have a solid back four plus lots of options in the bench like juani guirado and ray jonnsson.
