with the world economy spiraling down deeper into recession, expect things to get worse. i've heard a lot of companies have started to employ stringent cost-cutting measures. and usually when you talk about cost-cutting, layoffs is part of it. expect unemployment, and also underemployment to continue rising. with this, crime rate, kidnappings, prostitution, other illegal stuff, or maybe even suicide rate, will follow the trend. so brace yourselves for a tough year.
i better start looking for a back-up plan then. you’ll never know.
