notes on my fifth week

- woke up kinda late last sat morning. it's weird considering i was in bed by 10pm. maybe i was just exhausted from work. i took a quick shower and headed to casa loma via subway by noon. if you've been to europe, there's really nothing special with casa loma architecture wise. but i think it's the person and the story behind casa loma make it very interesting and a tourist favorite.

- after casa loma, i had late lunch at arby's yorkdale mall. i think yorkdale mall is the 2nd biggest mall in toronto. i actually like it better than eaton centre (which is the biggest and more popular). i find yorkdale mall classier, better lit, and to have more selection and variety than the eaton centre.

- after the autoshow, i visited the cn tower since it's just right beside mtcc. it's actually my second time. my first time was a long time ago, maybe 5 to 6 years ago. my timing couldn't be more perfect. i went up almost 5 pm, just in time to witness the sunset. i also stayed for a couple of hours to take some pictures of the city at night. when visiting, make sure to get the pass that includes the sky pod. it offers a much better view of toronto than the look out. the ultimate wave tahiti 3d and himalamazon were kinda outdated for me. i've seen better 3d rides.

- we didn't have work last monday since it's family day (an official holiday in canada). my friend alex from the office was kind enough to accompany me to vaughan mills outlet mall for shopping. this outlet mall is very familiar. i think i also shopped here during my first visit to toronto. i'm not really sure. the best shop here is the bass pro shop. being an outdoor person, i think i can easily spend a whole day here.

- i've been looking for a&w since i arrived in toronto and i finally found one at the vaughan mills foodcourt. yahoo!!!

- finally got raptors game tickets for march 1. raptors vs hornets!!! i'm rooting for the raptors ofcourse but i'm also a big fan of chris paul.
