superbowl xlv

i don't really follow american football but i do watch the superbowl every year. and i have a few absolutely valid reasons. haha.

1) funny expensive commercials - the best this year is the young darth vader by volkswagen. cute and hilarious.

2) great halftime show - memorable performance by the black eyed peas. made even better with slash showing up.

3) highly emotional, high octane action is expected - the quest for the lombardi trophy ends here. it's an all-out war.

4) celebrities galore - everyone should be here including ex-presidents, washed-up actors, hip-hop moguls, and baseball superstars.

5) a reason to drink beer and gobble on chicken wings - beer has always been part of the superbowl experience.


over the years, the superbowl transformed itself into more of a spectacle than just a game. and we love it!

congrats to the greenbay packers for bringing back the lombardi to where it belong.
